JPRESERVE Accommodation Reservation Site: For Users of the Kyoto Attraction Rediscovery Project
This is a reservation site only for customers who have stayed at JPRESERVE in the past or their friends. The booking fee of the accommodations is cheaper than any of the sites, so if you want to stay at your favorite house again or want to introduce to your friends, please use it. If you receive a referral from a friend, please provide your friend's name and dates when the friends stayed in the past. I look forward to seeing you again. JPRESERVE

Emergency response: 24 hours (Telephone calling by Japanese and English only available)
Due to the recent corona virus, we request that all of you wear masks, take temperature measurements and fill in the heath interview sheet. If you or other guests have a fever of 37.5 degrees or higher, or feel uncomfortable, you may not be allowed to stay. Thank you for your understanding.

Currently, the recruitment site does not yet support QR code payment such as Alipay. If you make a reservation with a credit card, you can complete the reservation here. However if you do not have a credit card such as VISA or Master card and want to pay by QR code (Alipay), please screenshot the screen (make sure you have entered the desired date and time correctly) and send the following information by e-mail (jpreserve.customer@gmail.com), or if you have already had our Wechat account (JPRESERVE) , you can do it there as well.

■Confirmation of reservation
If you are done of the reservation before 21:00 Japan time, the reservation will be completed on the day, but if after 21:00 Japan time, the reservation will be confirmed the next day, so the reservation might be filled up.
We will send you the confirmation of the reservation (and QR code to make payment for some of you). When you pay the fee within 24 hours, the reservation will be completed.

①Note for Check-in
The houses are operated by the guesthouse management company JPRESERVE.
In accordance with the guesthouse law in Japan and Kyoto, our staffs meet you for check-in.
After we meet up at the meeting point (e.g., our office), we complete the accommodation procedure such as filling out the check-in list and copying your passports, then we will guide you to the house together. Check-in and check-out methods may be different for each house, so please check each facility's page. During your stay, you can keep in touch with SNS such as Whatsapp or Wechat.
[Reservation of check-in time] Please make a reservation for check-in time via our reservation system Edisone. For details, we will send you the guidance after booking. The rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you do not have the desired room at the desired date, please reserve another schedule or contact us individually. Check-in time available from 16:00 to 21:00. Please inform us of your schedule one week before your stay. If you do not contact us, we will contact you. If you did not contact us even one day in advance, we could not accept your desired check in time on the day.

②On the arrival day
If there are any changes on the arrival day, please let us know as soon as possible. Please do not be late for the check-in time. If you were late for more than 30 minutes without any contacts, we would also charge an additional fee 1500 JPY. For example, if you made the appointment at 4 pm and you came to the meeting point after 4:30 pm without any contacts, you would also be charged 1500 JPY.
③About check-in after 21:00
We are sorry that we do not accept check-in after 21:00 , because our check in counter will close at that time. If you are planning to travel and there is a possibility that check-in will after 21:00 , please look for other accommodation.
An additional charge of 4,000 yen will be incurred per hour if you need check-in after 21:00 . Because we need to arrange our staff to wait you until your arrival time, it needs additional cost. Please understand that.
Exception is the extension of check-in time due to flight delay due to natural disasters and delay of public transportation. We will definitely wait until your arrival, please do not worry about this.
④About garbage
Since strictly follow Kyoto local law for recycling-oriented society, please cooperate separating garbage. We sort into 7 kinds of garbage, which are burnable, plastic, aluminum cans, steel cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles and clean paper. Especially plastic ones must be washed and dried. If you don’t do this, we could charge you 3000 yen because our cleaners have to wash and separate again. In this case, we would send you the pictures of garbage. When you check in, we explain how to separate garbage with samples. After introductions, it’s not too hard. Please don’t worry about this.
⑤About pests
We try to get rid of the pests like spiders or cockroach at least once a month. However, some insects very rarely come into the house because guests open doors and windows during their stay.
【For Foreigners】 Normal Japanese houses have entrances on the first floor, so our house is not really airtight. It is very hard to prevent all invasion of insects for almost all houses in Japan. Because this kind of problems is very common in Japan, please understand it. That’s why we couldn’t give you a refund due to pests.
